Johnathon Newcomb, DMD
Meet Dr. Newcomb
Dr. John Newcomb received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2002. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was elected into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, for academics, scholarship, and achievement. After dental school he served on active duty in the United States Armed Forces for six years where he received an endodontic certificate by completing the Uniformed Service Endodontic Specialty Residency Program. During his service, he was the acting Chief of Endodontics and Endodontic Consultant for the Army in the Asia-Pacific region where he lectured at the United States Forces Dental Training Conference and Yonsei University College of Dentistry. Additionally, he was elected by his peers as the President of the Army Association of Endodontists, was acting Chief of Endodontics at Fort Carson, Colorado, and Endodontic Mentor for a GPR residency, lecturing and training dentists on proper non-surgical and surgical techniques, endodontic retreatments, diagnosis, pain management, and patient management.
After completing his military service, Dr. Newcomb opened Clear Creek Endodontics with a vision of having a state-of-the-art facility capable of the highest quality of patient care and comfort. Since opening his practice, he has enjoyed receiving “Top Doc” honors from his colleagues and strives to work with every referring dentist to provide the best endodontic service and care.
Dr. Newcomb and his wife, Nina, have two boys. He and his family love Colorado and all it has to offer. He likes to be outdoors where he can hike, ski, and fish. He also plays drums and writes both novels and children’s books.
