Education and Endodontic Training

Dr. Stratton earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2003, graduating summa cum laude.

In recognition of his academic achievements, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the national dental honor society.

Following dental school, he entered active-duty military service and completed specialized training through the U.S. Army Endodontic Program at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, earning his Certificate in Endodontics in 2005.

Dr. Stratton served six years in the United States Army, including a deployment to Baghdad, Iraq, with the 502nd Dental Company.

During his deployment, he was the only endodontist serving military personnel and contractors throughout the theater of operations.

In addition to treating patients, he developed a one-on-one training program to help newly graduated Army dentists gain practical experience in root canal therapy before future deployments.

Dr. Stratton has also delivered professional lectures covering endodontic diagnosis, pain management, and surgical and nonsurgical root canal techniques.
